Welcome! Our mission at Unravel ASD is to partner with parents on their child’s journey through Autism, by providing manageable protocols that will alleviate symptoms and propel them into recovery.
We know the importance of giving your child the best chance at a good life and we have found it through a specified nutrition and wellness program that delivers results.
We would be honored to join you and your child on your ASD journey.
Meet our founder!
Hello, I’m ShaQuria, and my son was a happy and healthy little boy who was reaching all his developmental milestones until age one, but something wasn’t right. I noticed he no longer responded to his name, refused to make eye contact with me and others, and stopped reacting to injuries and pain. I consulted pediatricians and every specialist I could find, and no one had an answer for me. It wasn’t until age three that he was finally given an official diagnosis of Autism. That was a tough pill to swallow.
As his condition progressed, he developed more and more behaviors that no medical professional could explain. I was referred to speech and occupational therapists but didn’t see the results I was hoping for. I felt hopeless and, quite frankly, FED UP. I mean, it’s tough to be a mother, but this is so much more than that.
The constant need to explain to strangers that he was autistic in hopes they would understand and reserve their judgments while he was screaming, bouncing off the walls, or otherwise being disruptive; was EXHAUSTING. I didn’t want to do it anymore.
I poured myself into research, picked the brains of all his specialists, and questioned other moms and personal friends who worked in the medical field, and still, no answers came. UNTIL I took a hard look at our household, I figured there had to be a root cause, so let’s start from scratch.
After beginning a life-changing nutrition and natural detox regimen to restore our health, the results were better than expected. I noticed eye contact on the first day alone! What a step. The next day he turned around when I called his name. Each day he rose a little more out of the fog he had been in for the last two years. My baby was finally coming back to me! And that’s when I knew there was something to this.
KJ is now an intelligent, super social, thriving eight-year-old boy. He loves playing with friends, is involved in Karate, and aspires to be a Dentist when he grows up. I am so grateful and blessed to have my little man back, which is the gift I feel compelled to share with you.
I have spent the last three years partnering with mothers tired of the medical run-around, looking for tangible results, and ready to make the changes. And I know that I can help your child.
